The engineers at AMS performance have developed a clutch master cylinder that will last for the life of the vehicle.The factory clutch master cylinder is plastic, and is known to fail eventually due to lack of solid materials. When upgrading to an aftermarket clutch, they inherently have stronger clamping forces that put more strain on the master cylinder.
They have employed an AutoCAD, as well as a CMM arm to precisely measure the factory master cylinder and firewall in order to produce a counter-bore adapter plate that fits flawlessly. This design has made the AMS component to install easily, and it includes all the necessary hardware to make for a complete replacement.
