GM confirms today that Chevrolet will build 69 COPO Camaro’s for 2012. The new COPO first appered at SEMA in 2011 as a concept car. The 2012 option will match the original 1969 COPO with the use of ZL1 COPO Camaro badge. The car will be offered as a performance only package, it cannot be registered, titled or driven on public roads or highways, used only as a NHRA competition vehicle. Although its not a Corvette , we love it, its still Chevy Racing. Could we see a sister car in the Corvette lineup in the future, we sure hope so!
